About us:
Japan Quilt Society (JQS) was established in 2021 and aims to develop and promote quilt culture in Japan. JQS is a membership organization for quilters and those who enjoy quilts. JQS strives to spread the technique, knowledge and skills of quilts and nurturing the young quilters in Japan, so that more people can enjoy quilts than ever.
JQS hosts 2 quilt events a year and promotes more activities for future.
As for the year of 2022, our first quilt event ‘Tokyo Quilt Show 2022’ in March was successfully completed and the next one ‘World Quilt Festival 2022’ in Yokohama will be held in November. Visit ‘News’ on our site and enjoy short movie of ‘Tokyo Quilt Show 2022’.
